We have had the most wonderful time at the beautiful Handmade Fair which is held in the grounds of Hampton Court Palace!
We had a fantastic three days, meeting lots of lovely customers, other stall holders and of course the one and only Kirstie Allsopp who had organised the wonderful fair! There was so much to see and do; some great craft workshops, lots of fantastic handmade products available to buy and some delicious food stalls scatted around the big site! We would definitely recommend to anyone who didn't make it this year to make sure you are free next year, so you can go and be as amazed as we were! Or you can head to their Christmas Fair they are holding in Manchester this November, sadly we cannot make it!

Today we have Izzi's sister Cecily Rainey, who runs, Chicken Corner here on the farm chatting to us about an unexpected new arrival!
Morning Cecily! Please can you tell us all about your exciting revelation you came home to yesterday at Chicken Corner!
Cecily- 'Hello! Yes I had a very surprising arrival yesterday on the farm! One of my black pekin hens had gone broody for some time but I was hesitant to have chicks at this time of year! However, I did decide to place one egg in her hen house, which I wrote 'Do not remove' on, to try and differentiate between the other eggs being laid by her fellow hen friends. I didn't think she would ever hatch it but much to my surprise when I went to collect the eggs yesterday afternoon, I was greeted by tiny 'cheeping'. I delicately lifted my hen to reveal a perfect, little, Lavender pekin chick!
Wow, it is so exciting to have another new arrival here on the farm! Thank you for sharing your Chicken Corner tales with us Cecily!
What a summer we have had with our wonderful caravan! We have absolutely loved travelling around Norfolk with our travelling shop! She has been a fantastic storage unit, a brilliant prop and definitely drawn in the customers!
She has now been put away for the Winter to recover from all the fun, but she will definitely be back out next year with a fresh face!
Doesn't mean the fairs stop there though... we will be at Kirstie Alsopp's Handmade Fair from the 18th until the 20th of September at the gorgeous Hampton Court Palace!
